Community Small Group Homes named after Alice Dumoulin Izmirlian
The Izmirlian Foundation will provide 1.2 million financing: A Memorandum of Understanding for the construction of community small group homes was signed.
The Izmirlian Charitable Foundation will allocate 1.2 million dollars for the construction of community small group homes for graduates of population social protection institutions. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed today between the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Izmirlian Foundation to kick start the implementation of the project.
The goal of the project is to enhance access to quality community small group homes and social care for graduates of population social protection institutions.
Accordingly, within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has committed the funding necessary for ensuring proper operation and maintenance of 10 community small group homes as well as for the reconstruction, furnishing and equipping of one community small group home. Additionally, the Ministry has committed the provision of five premises for the implementation of the planned reconstruction works aimed at converting those into community small group homes.
