Provision of care for children with cancer – Phase 2
In 2022, the Izmirlian Foundation supported the implementation of phase 1 of the project on “Provision of care for children with cancer”, within the framework of which three children from vulnerable families of Armenia’s borderland communities received care in the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. The Izmirlian Foundation will scale up the Project building on the successful implementation and results of phase 1 of the project and considering the importance of ensuring children’s equal access to best available cancer treatment and care in the country.
The direct beneficiaries of this Project are four children (aged 0-18) diagnosed with cancer living in Armenia with low socioeconomic status.
The Project is being implemented by the City of Smile Foundation and Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia at the Hematology Center named after Prof. R.H. Yeolyan.
