Free Medical Support for Syrian Armenians
The project has been initiated by the Foundation in 2017 in response to the needs of a large number of ethnic Armenian refugees from Syria that resettled in Armenia as a result of the Syrian Civil War. The goal of the project is to provide free medical support to vulnerable groups of Syrian Armenians settled in different parts of the country. The project has been co-funded by the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and is under implementation by the Izmirlian Medical Center, which provides its services at subsidized rates established for the project.
Among the partner organizations of the project are the RA Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Armenian General Benevolent Union Fund (Armenia), the “Center for Coordination of Syrian Armenians issues” NGO, and the “Aleppo” Compatriotic Charitable NGO.
